This is a terrific account of three submarines that served with distinction in World War II, Silversides, Drum, and Tang. The courage and resourcefulness of the crews is off the charts in a service where the casualty rate was among the highest of all the branches. Scott’s research and storytelling are first rate. Highly recommended!
